Presentation for parents about safety protocols in SD71 and the parents roll during emergency situations.Followed by Q&A. Childcare provided.
Presented by the BCTF the purpose of the workshop is to increase parents awareness of the social media platforms that are out there and discuss how to keep children safe on them. Facilitators Karen Langenmaier and Nick Moore.
Hosted by Mark Isfeld PAC this event starts with a introduction from valley parents affected by addiction and then continues with a panel of 3 speakers to discuss issues around drugs and addiction in our community. There will also be information about Naloxone kits and time for Q&A from the audience.
Comox Valley District Parents Advisory Council (DPAC) is a collective voice of School District
#71 parents and guardians.
Formally, DPAC is comprised of up to two representatives from each Comox Valley SD71 school PAC. DPAC council delegates are elected, appointed or otherwise selected by their PAC.
The DPAC is also governed by an elected board of directors comprised of a chair, vice-chair, secretary, and treasurer.
Any parent or guardian with a child registered in SD71 is a member at large of the DPAC and is welcome to attend and participate in DPAC meetings.
